Kedras Clinics is a revolutionary and innovative new psychology practice unlike any other. Our treatments are neurobiologically and physiologically based, which means that we respect and incorporate the connection between body, mind, and brain. We use the most up-to-date neuroscience technology and research to guide our treatments, which are individualised based on each person’s unique problems and help drive a reduction in symptoms as quickly and effectively as possible.
We specialise in Neurofeedback and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) aimed at both healing and regaining psychological balance.
We are excited to announce our Perth clinic is now open, offering innovative and medically proven treatments at the cutting edge of mental health care. Our initial availability is limited, and demand has been higher than anticipated, so sessions will be made available on a first come first served basis. To secure a slot, or to just find out more, please use the contact form below.
We offer a variety of creative therapies for both children and adults, including ground-breaking Infra-Low Neurofeedback (ILF) therapy, which is a safe, quick, and non-invasive way to help the brain and body heal from the effects of traumatic stress. This cutting edge mental health treatment helps the brain to “re-wire” and improves both mental and physical functioning without the need for in-depth talks and discussions about your story. Even better yet, the way it helps the body and brain to calm down will result in you starting to feel better almost straight away.
Neurofeedback therapy is becoming more and more acclaimed as a treatment for mental health problems, and we are proud to be able to offer this cutting-edge treatment to our clients.
EMDR therapy is a form of mental health treatment that helps people who have experienced severe trauma. Traumatic events can be disruptive to daily life, and EMDR therapy helps the individual confront their trauma in a safe environment. This type of therapy uses bilateral stimulation, either through eye movements or hand tapping, to help the person reprocess their traumatic memories.
Evidence-based talk therapies are essential for mental health support and change. Our targeted digital therapeutic programs offer an additional layer of support, but psychotherapy is still integral to our work. When integrated with targeted programs, psychotherapy can increase the chance of achieving full remission of symptoms.
It is now widely recognised that our gut is effectively our second brain. There is a two-way stream of communication between our brain and gut. What happens to the brain influences the gut, and what food we put into our gut influences our brain, for example, 90% of Serotonin receptors are held in our gut. Serotonin plays a key role in important body functions such as mood regulation, sleep, digestion, nausea, bone health, and sexual desire. Therefore, if we don’t keep our gut healthy, it will have an impact on these areas.
We believe in treating the whole person, by recognising the link between body and brain. We are holistic in our focus. Just like a plant or flower can flourish or die depending on their environment and being cared for, so the body and brain are the same.
Our chef, David, is passionate about the research around this area of gut health and will help people create eating patterns that will help improve their mental health. David will talk you through understanding what foods might help your health and what might make it worse.
At Kedras Clinics, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of mental health research and development. From our cutting-edge neurofeedback treatments to our ground-breaking work with trauma using a combination of psychotherapeutic modalities, we are always looking for new and better ways to help our clients.
This means that our clinics are constantly improving, and that our clients always receive the best possible care. We believe that everyone who comes to us should be seen as a collaborator in developing good practice, and we welcome all feedback in order to constantly improve our service.
